This is a proper Italian restaurant with an Italian owner and the wonderful Italian attitude to customers which embraces them warmly. The service is friendly and efficient, the food arrives in good time and has always been tasty. The menu ranges from the traditional pizza...and pasta dishes to fish and meat as well as vegetarian. Unlike so many, this restaurant actually caters for those little wishes like easy on the oil etc. and if at all possible, special requests are fulfilled. I arrived as a sole traveler, an empty restaurant, I was approached very kindly by the waitress, later on a different waiter, both chsrming and helpful, I had soup and a pizza, both were good, could have been slightly better (lack of herbs or spices...for the pizza, soup was under seasoned). If you're staying in the close area, this restaurant is a good, descent option! A small disclosure is the fact that I'm reviewing and grading based on dishes.... I gave a star because it wasn't average stars), though perhaps not very good,it was definitely closer to very good!

I am speachless to describe the customer service and the delicious food in this restaurant. I stayed there for my holiday in December with my partern and i can say that everything was perfect. Gianni and all staff was very helpful and friendly. Good money...spent for good food quality. I definetly recommend to try.

we stayed in the Best Western nearby and walked down to Da Aldo on a Friday night with no booking. they accommodated us quickly and gave a great service. food, atmosphere and beer was excellent and we consider this a real find- highly recommended
