Ristorante Da Carlo is the absolutely best Italian is all East-Westphalian and we always like to come here for a pleasant evening. The pizza is the best about Detmold, Minden and Herford and is still traditionally prepared in a wood stove with open fire. The pasta and other dishes are also delicious. Price performance and super! You can still observe the pizza baker directly above the shoulder. The staff is always polite, engaged and fixed as nowhere else. We never had to wait a long time for a drink, and even the dishes come super fast and together to the table! The boss welcomes and accepts his guests personally and you just feel comfortable.
