Absolutely love this place it is one of our favorite restaurants. We have been coming for years now. We spend all of our special occasions here. Unfortunately we were disappointed in our last visit. It was on a Saturday and we do understand that it can get busy but the reservation was made 2 weeks in advance. When we got there we got seated right by the entry door next to the hostess desk. We asked if any other table was available and they said no we even offered to wait for another table to open up then they proceeded to tell us the wait would be an hour and 45 minutes. It wasn’t a big deal until 2 to 3 parties of 2 just like us came in 20 minutes after us and were seated in the main room....

During pre Covid or as I call it pc versus ac, it was ever the snooty place. And they have the wood panels, the chandeliers and the 10 watt light bulbs to justify it! The food was good then. They are more welcoming now, but I left the place fearing I’d end up ill after chicken that was more raw than cooked. The server was apologetic and I ordered something vegetarian. It might have been that it was a Sunday and maybe the regular chef was not there. So, I would just tell them to please make sure the chicken is cooked completely.
