There could not have been a much better way to get my 2022 Michelin Star year up and running than with an absolutely fabulous lunch at Da Terra. The food with some new dishes and redesigned old ones was amazing , the wine pairings from sommelier Maria were perfect and the service was impeccable as always. We’ve had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant from the beginning three years ago through to the two michelin stars they have now but I would have to say that this visit just about tops them all. Exceptional service and food with creative ingredients. My partner and I went for their full 10 course tasting menu for our anniversary dinner and they did not disappoint. It’s such a s ahem that I had overestimated myself being stuffed by the 5th course. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprise if they achieve a 3rd star soon. Staffs were knowledgeable and thoughtful, we enjoyed the open kitchen as we felt they were transparent and could really see the teamwork going on in running the establishment. Would definitely return for another special occasion. By far my favourite is the sheep yogurt with 40 years aged balsamic vinegar, and scallop with frozen marigold leaves.
I had a fantastic experience! This restaurant truly deserves its Michelin 2 stars. Every dish was modern, delicious, and beautifully presented. I loved the creativity and flavors, especially the use of Brazilian ingredients. The service was excellent, and it was a nice touch that Chef Cagali came out to serve us and engage with guests. The restaurant has an understated yet calming atmosphere. We were seated near the kitchen, which added to the experience. I highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!
I visited London for a weekend and had an incredible experience at this restaurant. Despite its small size, the atmosphere felt intimate, providing diners with the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey, whether for lunch or dinner. The entire team, both in the kitchen and in the dining area, is well-trained and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed every course, and the wine pairing options were fantastic. I had dinner with my girlfriend at Da Terra this week. We are both very impressed by the food. Chef Rafael Cagali is very creative. Every dish not only looks like a piece of art but also very delicious. My favoritos include Custard, The Humble Chicken, Moqueca a refined Brazilian fish stew) and Baba. This’s a restaurant run by a chef who knows food and love cooking from heart. We would definitively go again.
I visited London for a week and made several reservations, enjoying a variety of international cuisines. Da Terra blew me away—it's absolutely genius! The food is mind-blowing, and the photos simply can't capture its beauty. This is truly world-class culinary artistry. Hats off to Alex, our wonderful server, and Charlie, the manager, for their exceptional service. Great people all around!
What to say… Truly a remarkable fine dining experience. I didn’t anticipate the Brazilian influences! Thoughtful blending of technique, culture, and exotic ingredients you’d never expect to encounter in London. This meal was operating at a three star level. Highly recommend. You may encounter some challenging carnivore courses, so if you’re picky, let them know in advance.
Had an amazing experience here. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing. We had the long tasting menu, which lasted about 2.5hrs. The atmosphere is really relaxed for such a nice place, it really takes the edge off would could have quite easily been a very pretentious vibe. A truly delicious and memorable evening.
