Daddy D's Suber Soulfood

Finally made it to Daddy D 's and now I feel as though I 've cheated myself for not going sooner. My trifecta is good food, served by good folks, at good prices and Daddy D 's exceeded expectations. I went for catfish, but didn 't realize they had a buffet so I was treated to fish, chicken, and pork chops. I 'm a fan of the fish chicken but when served a pork chop fresh from the kitchen I had to try it, and it was the best bite of my meal. For sides I 'm usually good with collards and mac n cheese, but they had lots more. Rice and gravy, black eyes, yams, tater salad, but the pintos got my attention. A bowl of pintos with their cornbread would 've been a fine meal on it 's own! If this type...

Little slow today, but buffet was still fresh. Hope the construction doesn't hinder their customers. Nice down home feeling and attentive service.
