If Eastwood is an indication of how groovy Seoul is, and if the food in Korea is a quarter as good as that at Dae Jang Kum, then I’ll go, but now, I don’t need to! Run by a friendly and delightful Korean New Zealander named John, Dae Jang Kum has the tastiest pork and beef you’ll ever eat thanks to his choice of cuts and his delicious marinades … and oh, the crab so succulent. In the centre of our table is a small BBQ pit surrounded by countless, scrumptious side dishes, including, of course, Kim Chi ... but what Kim Chi!! We were so impressed that the BBQ grill is replaced often so there are no funky smells. Don’t worry about overcooking your food; the staff are right there to lend a hand....
One of my fave korean restaurants! The service is pretty much always spot on, and the food is so good. Have tried bbq, fried chicken and their stews and it’s never failed to impress. Had bbq with around 10 colleagues, we paid about $30 per head. Super cheap considering we left feeling stuffed and had stews, chicken and bbq.<br/ <br/ The soy fried chicken is to die for. Absolutely amazing. <br/ <br/ My favourite stews are the soy bean paste stew and the dried pollack stew. The portions are generous and tasty. <br/ <br/
Good Korean BBQ dinner with friends.<br/ We ordered 2 soups and 3 Wagyu meat and 1 pork to share.<br/ I do love the fish row soup, everything was good enough for me.<br/ The amount of fish roe, some prawns and the broth was amazing.<br/ The other soup was kimchi pork belly.<br/ Love the combination, also so they are throwing some hard tofu also on the soup, which is win my heart and goes straight to my belly.<br/ Mixed meat cut was awesome, pretty tasty.<br/
I did the KBBQ Option at DJK. It's pretty solid, nothing too amazing but the seasoning of the meat is done fairly well if you go with marinated options. <br/ <br/ In my opinion, the wrapped pork in lettuce isn't that great although it seems like a popular dish but that maybe my taste buds. <br/ <br/ Good selection of side dishes too overall not bad for a KBBQ feed.

Delicious food! I came here tonight for dinner for Mother’s Day and it was awesome . I did not expect to enjoy every dish as we ordered a decent variety of dishes from a clear spicy hot pot, bulgogi beef, stir fried baby octopus (that came piping hot) and Combination “B” BBQ, it was my first proper Korean BBQ experience
Great place, great service and great food<br/ <br/ Been coming here for years and without a doubt the best Korean BBQ in Eastwood for its price<br/ <br/ Meals come with an amazing array of sides and the cuts of meat are top notch.<br/ <br/ Suggest trying all the wagyu variants you will not be disappointed
I adore this restaurant. The staff are all absolutely fantastic; they really go that extra mile to make sure you're content with everything and make you feel very welcome. Our server Pilly was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and very fresh!!
It was my first Korean restaurant visit had never tasted Korean food before, so visited this restaurant very friendly staff cosy atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious!! Price for food was absolutely fantastic.Highly recommended!

We got the $59 set menu which had pork and beef and which was plenty for 2 people they aren’t stingy on the meat like other places. Also good quality meat is given with plenty of side dishes.
Love the Great services from staffs, Great food and environment. Reasonable price for all the food too!!! will definitely come back again!
