Oh my goodness!! Mom and I came here while she was visiting me and she said it was the best Mexican food she's ever had in her life. She called her friends and told them the same thing. It was deliciously fantastic! Mom loved her chicken mole enchiladas and could not say enough nice things about the sauce. She was also a huge fan of the beans and rice, but especially the beans. Normally, mom eats half her meal and takes the other half home to enjoy later. Not this time. Those beans didn't have a chance. My meal was exceptional as well. I ordered a burrito that came with a nice half and half sauce, but asked for a side of enchilada red sauce because I like my burrito to swim! If you like that...
We LOVED our meal this evening. My 13 year old got the blackened salmon dish, my wife the chicken enchilada, and I got the short rib special. Prior to our meals we had their yummy chips (comes out hot and perfectly salted). Awesome salsa came with the chips. We ordered the tortilla soup and a ceviche for for apps and both were great. Our server, Pedro, was so kind and on top of our service we felt spoiled. Thanks Pedro!!!! And finally, after over stuffing our selves ... we ordered the churros and couldn't be happier. We will be back!!
Amazing food and even better service!!! Ordered the chicken fajitas and the chicken was perfectly cooked and a huge portion! My husband the biria special tacos and those were devoured in 5 seconds! The baked Alaska was just beyond!!! Allan was our server and he was honestly so sweet and on it! Highly recommend this spot!
Came here on a Sunday for lunch. Checked in at Yelp and we got a free appetizer! Here's what we ordered: a glass of sangria free appetizer calamari fajita shrimp wit rice, beans and guacamole with corn tortilla chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. Everything was good and the staff are friendly and attentive.

I visited this restaurant for a late weekday lunch, and the food was delightful! We ordered the Chile relleno, short rib tamales, chicken enchiladas, and corn dip. The tortillas appear to be made in-house and are of excellent quality.
Dinner was good especially the corn dip. Only disappointment was the restaurant was quiet and closed early. We had a 7:15 reservation. We ordered a second glass of wine at 8:30 and were told the bar was closed.
I ate here for the first time with my friend Service was great! Thank you Hector!! Food was very good service was on point too!! We'll definitely be back to try another dish!!
Why did they have to close? They had an incredible baked Alaska! It's such a shame! They also served fantastic food overall.

I'm really disappointed to hear that this lovely restaurant has closed. It was one of the best spots in downtown San Mateo.
