Chain Restaurant within Florida. Close walk to the beach with a lot of parking lots and spaces. We ordered nachos, lobster tacos and oysters. The nachos would have been better with less cheese and maybe the option to add shrimp. The oysters were fresh with the perfect amount of saltiness. The lobster tacos could have been better, a lot better. They were small and the amount of lobster one got was less than half of a tail--not worth the price. We were told to stop in for happy hour. The drinks were okay, nothing I'd go out of my way for again when visiting--just a **** load of sugar and not enough alcohol. The ratio was off but I feel as if that is what I say to all premade drinks that aren't...
A mediocre restaurant in a good location. My rundown: the fried coating separates from the squid so you have to pop the whole thing in your mouth or expect to either have a mouthful of squid or a mouthful without. Not the best calamari. But not the worst. what's that odd taste on my blackened shrimp? Not like anything blackened I've had before. And that's no compliment! The roll on the po' boy is nondescript. Not worth eating. the Caesar salad is three stars! Nothing special, but no complaints. The children's mac and cheese comes with a choice of fries or grapes. (Who eats fries AND pasta? A plus: nice outdoor patio.
On December 29, 2021, it was a bit crowded when we arrived at the restaurant, but we were seated promptly. We ordered calamari for the table and it was tasty. I decided to try the Jamaican-style short ribs grilled cheese sandwich. Although I enjoyed the sandwich, it didn't really taste Jamaican-style to me - it just tasted like regular short ribs. It came with a side of orange jam sauce, which I didn't think paired well with the sandwich. However, I did really like the sweet potato, especially with their homemade sauce (which reminded me of Zaxby's sauce). The waitress was enthusiastic and attentive.
We were in Venice for the Venice sharks tooth festival, wanted to find a place that was outside seating, dog friendly , and had seafood, so we checked off all of the boxes! We were lucky to get seating outside pretty quickly, with downtown being so busy with the festival. The food was very good. The location and atmosphere is great. The service, not so great.l. Our appetizers came about 10 minutes after our entrees. Things were pretty slow in general. I would come back on a non-festival day. The poke bowls were pretty good! Réservez une table maintenant
Can't vouch for the food, as we only went in for drinks. We were able to sit at the bar and the bar tender was super kind and attentive. The drinks were so tasty, absolutely loved the coffee flavor. Restaurant was spacious and has a great location in down town Venice. Highly recommend stopping in for a daiquiri... you won't regret it!
The restaurant offers a wide variety of oysters and frozen drinks. The frozen drinks were tasty and refreshing. We were satisfied with our meal. We opted to sit at the bar, as we usually do. Unfortunately, the hostess seemed to be in a sour mood. Despite this, it was still a good dining experience overall.
