A new employee at the restaurant seemed to have some difficulties processing my card payment. To avoid any complications, I opted to pay in cash, but later checked my bank account and saw that the card transaction had indeed gone through. The employee's supervisor then rudely refunded my cash, claiming that the transaction wouldn't clear, and suggested that I was trying to get my order for free. I had no intention of taking advantage of such a small amount. As it turns out, the transaction did clear. I appreciated the friendliness of the new employee, but unfortunately, I found her boss, a middle-aged man, to lack people skills and to be quite unpleasant to deal with.
I always order the same treat at Dairy Queen: a simple vanilla cone that brings back fond childhood memories. A couple of years ago, they revamped their hot dog. While the new version is decent and larger in size, it doesn't quite measure up to the original. Tonight, we stopped by with our three granddaughters after they won their softball game, and they all loved their treats. I need to keep Dairy Queen in mind for quick meals because they truly have some of the best options around. Fingers crossed the girls keep winning!
We decided to indulge in a dessert after dinner, only to realize that they would be closing soon. However, a very friendly and courteous woman took our order and reassured us not to worry about the closing time; she encouraged us to just enjoy ourselves. She mentioned that there were plenty of tasks for them to handle without interrupting us. The service was excellent, and we will definitely be returning as customers!
The Fridley DQ is incredibly slow. My orders are consistently incorrect, and we even had an argument with them over a mistakenly made Blizzard order. I requested an a la carte option but ended up being charged for full meals. The prices are really high for fast food, and everything is overly fried. Overall, it's been a disappointing experience.

I visited the restaurant for a special dessert to celebrate my child's birthday. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We ordered blizzards and malts, and they were expertly prepared. Although I'm not usually a fan of blizzards, the one I tried was excellent with generous chunks.
Be careful with your change! I was there this evening, and the man at the counter mistakenly pressed the wrong button. I handed him a $20 bill, and he needed to sort it out.
This place has the stickiest floors in the metro area. I would have given two stars or less but they do have two very good employees.
We had baskets and cones. The baskets came with a sundae. They were great! We love Dairy Queen, and this one is our favorite.
