The restaurant lacks a traditional menu and doesn’t offer a full range of sizes. When it rains, there are leaks in the ceiling and the store has an unpleasant odor. Additionally, they don't perform the signature upside-down flip with their Blizzards, which is quite disappointing. I'm surprised they can franchise Dairy Queen without adhering to corporate standards or updating the store. I definitely recommend driving the extra 15 minutes to the location in Wapakoneta instead.
We had lunch here today with three people, but only two of us got the right orders, even though we paid for all three meals. The woman in our group specifically asked for her ice cream to be served in a cup, but they disregarded her request and brought it in a cone instead. The staff, who appeared to be more preoccupied with their phones than with the customers, were all quite young. It may be some time before I think about coming back.
This is an amazing place to indulge in some ice cream! The setting is very laid-back, featuring a number of delightful picnic tables, mostly situated in the shade. You’ll frequently spot classic hot rods and vintage cars, which enhance the charming atmosphere. It brings back fond memories of my childhood when my family would come together for a sweet treat. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would rate it a solid 5 stars!
On July 14, 2023, we visited this place for ice cream with the family to celebrate my mom's birthday a bit early, as we were in town visiting my sister. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream, and my mom and I had delicious shredded chicken sandwiches. The service was good too. Réservez une table maintenant
The restaurant does not have a grill and only serves sandwiches prepared in a crock pot. They do not provide refills for soft drinks, and the cups are filled with ice to at least three-quarters full. Furthermore, the bathroom was not clean.
The staff were incredibly helpful in guiding my kids to find what they wanted, even with just a brief description. It’s a perfect place to enjoy some ice cream after a hot day at the park.
The service was outstanding, but they definitely need to upgrade their intercom system—it's difficult to hear what they're saying. Apart from that, their ice cream is amazing!
