Dairy Queen Grill Chill

My wife, my mother-in-law, and I decided we wanted ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. It was really my mother-in-law's idea!! However, who doesn't want ice cream that can have it in their diet? So, we took a little ride to Live Oak Dairy Queen. Lake City Dairy Queen is closer. However, it's just not worth driving 5 minutes away, dealing with I-75 and Lake City traffic. The Live Oak Dairy Queen was a little busy inside. However, they were up to the task. My wife chose the Animal Cookie Blizzard, and her mom chose a hot fudge sundae. I picked my Butterfinger Blizzard. As we sat, at an available table, we looked at the inside of the restaurant. The restaurant is a little dated, but I prefer it!!...

I have always loved Dairy Queen my whole life especially as a kid. I'm from Arkansas so I only got to go to Dairy Queen couple of times but when I went it was a good experience. I live in Florida now in Live Oak and I've had Dairy Queen twice now the hamburger was amazing. But I went and got some barbecue chicken tenders I wasn't very impressed by them I thought they were going to be better but they were really small and I don't know I just didn't really like the taste much. Everything else I've had here has been very good and I appreciate all the good service because when you have good workers that are nice and actually want to do their job makes a big difference. We ordered a Choco Brownie Extreme Blizzard Cake. You would think for $35.00, it would look a little better. Very disappointed!!!
