The ice cream was as delicious as always, but when we got our blizzards, they were covered in ice cream and quite messy on the outside—definitely not where ice cream should be! They put all three blizzards in a paper bag, so we didn’t even notice until we started to drive away. I’ve never encountered anyone putting blizzards in a paper bag instead of using a cup holder. It seemed a bit lazy and careless on their part.
As for the owner's response, there's really no need to reach out—I've already detailed the issues in my review. Simply stop including the undesirable parts of the fruit in the blizzards; it's that straightforward. If you make these changes, please let me know, and I'll consider giving it another try. Otherwise, I think I'm done with this location.
This Dairy Queen at Deer Valley truly stands out! The restaurant was clean and modern, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was excellent, and since it was our cheat day, we decided to try a variety of menu items, all of which were delicious. We will definitely return to this location instead of opting for the closer branches!
What can I say except that this place is the home of the Blizzard! Their ice cream is fantastic, and they offer a wide selection of mix-ins that makes it even more delightful. While I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a gourmet dining experience, it’s definitely a place to enjoy something delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended!
