I usually look forward to every time I visit a Dairy Queen, but in this instance...not so much. First off your non sweetened iced tea. It tasted like it had sat all day and we were there well after 5pm. Along with the drinks you forgot the milk for the kids meal. I ordered the #1, bacon cheeseburger meal and my wife had #6, the crispy fried chicken sandwich meal. We got the kids meal hotdog WITH milk for my grandson. I've been to this fast food restaurant several times, and I appreciate that they offer combo meals that include a sundae, with the option to upgrade to a shake for just a few extra dollars. The food, like the burgers, is decent—nothing special, but not bad either. However, the ice cream is truly delightful. If you haven't tried a Blizzard yet, you should definitely come by just for that! I've also bought ice cream cakes here multiple times, and the ordering process is always smooth. I had a terrible experience at Dairy Queen in Saint Ann, but my visit to the Maryland Heights location was a complete turnaround! The staff were incredibly polite and attentive. They didn’t ignore me while chatting with their friends; instead, they focused on taking my order with a positive attitude that truly exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend the Saint Ann store enough to avoid, and I highly suggest visiting the Maryland Heights store instead. It's clear that the owner there understands how to run a business, unlike the owner of the Saint Ann location, who dismisses customer complaints by telling them not to return, rather than addressing the issues properly.
