ABSOLUTELY RACIST AND RUDE EVENING STAFF WHO DIDNT FIX THEIR MISTAKE .I ordered my blizzard in the drive thru and it was made wrong Reese’s but tasted like fruit) . So I went in to have it remade . I was polite while doing so and as I was telling the young lady at the counter another young employee was chatting in at her in their mother language. Then I noticed that all the staff blizzard and brazier areas) were all laughing and as the second young lady finished what she was saying while looking at me , then a male staff member while still talking in their mother tongue) stared directly at me and said something, then laughed and turned around he was in the brazier area) . However, my main issue is that for the past two times I've ordered this delightful wrap, I've taken a bite only to be overwhelmed by an overpowering spiciness. I glance down to see that dreadful orange sauce! While I appreciate a good hot sauce now and then, this one doesn’t even qualify as a proper sauce. It tastes like it was made by someone who's never tried chipotle sauce but only remembers the burn of hot sauce—and clearly despises their job. I experienced the unfortunate fate of tasting whatever "hot sauce" they're using in these wraps, and I genuinely cannot fathom anyone actually enjoying it. Worst DQ experience we’ve ever had, went through the drive through, the employee rushed through our order, I had made a change to the order near the end, shouldn’t be an issue right? Well got to the window, the employee was mocking the change I made and laughed then continued talking in Punjabi to his co worker, did not confirm the order with us before we paid, we drove away, $15 and bad service…. Only to take a bite of my blizzard and it was made wrong. ?
Vandi was incredible during our visit today. He assisted us with a gift card issue that we were having trouble understanding and managed to resolve it quickly. Additionally, he and the staff informed us of potential allergies for our family, which we greatly appreciated. We felt so happy to be there, especially sitting next to the firefighters on their lunch break. Vandi and the team truly served us like heroes. I highly recommend the downtown DQ!
The staff are amazing! But I see some of the employees being treated unfairly, especially the foreign workers. This is unacceptable behaviour anywhere, but especially here in Canada as we are a diverse, multicultural country and everyone deserves fair and respectable treatment free of abuse and racism. It is a basic human right. Shame on the owner and his family. It should be reported.
