beautiful selection of homemade foods. looked outside as my dog had with me, but a bowl with water was made available near for pets. my daughter loved the dark hot chocolate and said it tastes as good as the one in the bettys teeroom in york. she is only 1w, but loved the vintage feeling at the place. Eating was nice and I bought to take some of the red onion chutney home as I had it in my toastia and loved it. also bought passionsfruit curd and a jam. large selection of high quality tees in the offer, cakes are all freshly baked I saw and smells them just from the many. the coffee and the saw were beautiful. personal very courteous and friendly. although this is not true for me, it is worth mentioning that the caffe is quiet and dementia friendly. it also seemed popular with the locals.
So many teas to choose from. If you are a tea enthusiast you will love the selection. I had broccoli and cheese soup with soda bread and a carroway and orange scone. Both delicious. My wife had a scone and a slice of chocolate cake which was a bit dry. My 2 year old daughter had a cheese sandwich from the kids menu and it came with hand made crisps and a salad, a lot for her but she really liked it. We'd come back.
