Daisy’s In The Park

After we have followed daisys on the ig one because, today we went to a beautiful sunny day and the place was busy, which is a good sign, but it was chaotic to say the least. insecure if I have to wait for a table or it is only first come first serve? we ordered breakfast, first they had fled from the children's pancakes and it was only 11 o'clock that was annoying when I had a fuss. we ordered two of the daisys breakfast and it came in 15 minutes or so. eating was visually well presented and very instagrammable but that is where it stopped. the eating was warm and honest very disappointing, was not delicious, seemed like a very badly seasoned, the beans had a strange gritty texture to them,...

Arranged to meet friend here mid week before a visit to the adjacent Heath Robinson museum. The cafe was exceptionally popular, with no seats available at all, let alone one in the shade. I went to secure a shady bench in the park while my...friend joined the queue. We managed to get coffee and cake to take away without too long a wait, but the orders for people at the cafe tables seemed to be taking a long time. The cakes were both nice and freshly made. It is tricky with cafes in parks on a nice day they can be mobbed while on a wet day hardly anyone comes. This is in a lovely spot and the order was fine... Today I visited Daisys with my very elderly parents. The car park was full, so I double parked while I escorted mt parents to a table at the cafe. As I returned to my car a space became free and another car which had entered...the car park after me, parked in the space. There were no other spaces in the car park and I wasn't keen to park in the car park at the bottom of the park as I didn't want to leave my parents unattended for too long. I decided to appeal to the driver and asked if perhaps he would key me have his space as I was with my elderly parents. This cafe is at our door step so we visit it often. They've got a great range of cakes, beverages and food. I've used their catering service twice now and have been so pleased with the taste and timeliness of service. Highly recommend for catering...and party orders.

Iced coffee was great, both out breakfasts were amazing also with a lovely view of the pond. Only critique would be slightly more options on the menu but will definitely be back.
