Dalhousie Lighthouse Bistro

Me and my friend were at Inch Arran park with our daughters when came the time for supper. We decided that the canteen there wasnt an option. The bistro is right on the other side of the street so we went. I had a strawberry spinach and almond salad that was good. The atmosphere is calm and there is a patio. Serves alcoholic drinks too. Perfect location for a quick refill on energy when you are at the beach/park/Waterpark. I suggest to the owners to advertise more on side of the road to attract more people from the campground/park.

Pour une nuitée à Dalhousie, on nous avait recommandé le Bistro Le Phare (Lighthouse), mais encore fallait-il le trouver ! Sachez qu'il est bien caché au 2e étage au-dessus de l'aréna !!! On y accède par un obscur escalier à pic, et une fois dans le resto, des baies vitrées permettent aux clients qui sont assis à proximité, d'avoir une vue sur l'intérieur de l'aréna. Les plats sont généreux (crevettes, escargots) et pas mal pour un petit bistro. Les prix bien abordables, une cinquantaine de dollars pour 2, sans vin.

This has to be the best kept secret because no one has ever mentioned the incredible beauty of this site. The view of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. There are magnificent campsites on this gorgeous property as well as picnic areas equipped with BBQ pits. Must visit!!!

Business is closed, as per tourism/information desk when we arrived. Unless the lady at the help desk didn't want us to go to this restaurant for some reason.

The food here is always terrific and well priced. But, this restaurant is in a poor location above a hockey rink.
