Only saw two waitresses who appeared slightly busy. Kitchen must have been understaffed because I ordered the daily special... goulash, figuring I'd get this simple dish quick and waited almost half an hour for it before flagging my waitress down and asking for my food to go because I needed to get back to work. They gave me someone else's to go goulash. Since I didn't have any time left for my lunch, I had to eat it at my 2:00 break. It was comparable to the goulash I had in school.
My husband and I were directed to the Dalton restaurant by a friend whom we were visiting for a wedding. They have the best blueberry pancakes that I've had in a long time. My husband had an egg breakfast which was also good. The portions give you plenty of tasty food, they have good service and a local atmosphere. It was so good we ate there both days we were in Dalton and I found myself looking forward to the second visit.
This is a humble diner with a great deal to be humble about. Food is limited and very basic. Menus are handed out on scratch paper. Service is ok other than food takes too long to reach the table. Fries should not take 20-30 minutes. Pricing is proportional to the mediocre quality of the food. There aren't many choices in Dalton. Some competition would likely great improve this location.
One of the great, fresh lunch specials is the Goulash on Wednesdays; I call it Triple-Threat Goulash. Has pepperoni, meatball, and sausage chunks in a rich sauce. With bread and butter, only $6.25! Waited 40 minutes for breakfast bacon was burnt, couldn't eat it. There were 3 of us, waitress brought 2 meals and we waited another 5 minutes for bacon and egg meal. French toast was served cold. Bad experience and a little pricey for what was received for meals.

This is my favorite restaurant when I visit the area. I've brought many people here for their cozy, feel good food. It has anything one would be in the mood for.
It is our go to Saturday morning breakfast spot with the wild hogs and wild hogs in training . Always good food and service. Highly recommended. Réservez une table maintenant
