My wife and I recently dined at Daniel's Broiler in Seattle for the first time. Although the view was said to be nice, we were seated in the lounge area where the view was limited. The food, however, was delicious! I ordered the Porter House Steak and my wife got the Rib-Eyes with Bone. We were served warm bread and butter, a nice touch. Our grilled steaks were cooked perfectly, with a nice char on the edges. The only downside was that we could taste a strong alcohol flavor in the steak after a while. I wish we had been informed by our server if wine was used in the cooking. We both do not drink. Additionally, a 20% tip was automatically added to our bill, making the total for dinner for two...

Service Charge of on every meal......not gratuity!!!! You have to pay gratuity on top of that service charge! people produced a service charge?????? I was like omg it's not gratuity?????I had no idea they are doing this to their wait staff, its like stealing their tips!!!!...... The food.....My steak was good, my moms fish was dry and and came with chopped veges but my husband's lambchops were wonderful. Beautiful place with wonderful service but they are way over priced for the amount and quality of food. You also have to pay for parking....for me it's not worth the money to go back. Over for people.....
It's a mediocre steak restaurant that charges like it's a high-end restaurant. Unless you spring for a super-aged cut of beef, though, I'm not sure it's any better than a chain restaurant. The sides are cheezy 1950s standards like baked potatoes and carmelized brussels sprouts. And the waiter was clearly pissed that we didn't drink wine. (While we aren't hardcore oenophiles, I've had several wine memberships and been to both Eastern Washington wine country and Napa. Im not a pleeb. We just don't drink anymore since the cancer).
Lives up to its reputation. We all ordered ribeyes, done to perfection. Roger had the mashed potatoes with lobster and said it was delicious. We all enjoyed the square cheese curds. Cocktails and wine, then we rolled back to our hotel. I could do without the flashlights, though. Odd to have servers leaning over your plate, shining a pen light into your steak. Aside from that, highly recommend a special dinner out. Réservez une table maintenant
I was really looking forward to eat dinner there to celebrate my son’s birthday. However, my son said that the steak was missing some flavor. My Mule drink 18.00 not worth it. The food used to taste better years ago. I am not sure was happening in the kitchen.
We all shared tomahawk steaks at the restaurant. We also ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the bar was impressive.
Loved this place. Cozy atmosphere and great service. Steaks were incredible. Excellent dessert and wine selections. Definitely recommend
