I visit this coffee spot weekly during my work trips to Southern Cross. I want to take a moment to praise the fantastic team at Daniel’s Donuts, located next to the lolly station. Today, I saw them manage the holiday rush and chaotic crowds with remarkable professionalism and calm, despite some truly difficult customer behavior. Even with the Christmas season and the cricket crowd, wait times were just 5-7 minutes—much faster than typical fast food outlets. At first, I assumed they only sold donuts, but they also offer pies and coffee! My favorite are the plain cinnamon donuts—so soft and fresh! The cream and jam donuts are good as well, though the cream feels a bit heavy; I’d prefer a lighter version. The packaging is beautifully presented when they box your order.
