I decided to do this, but the staff was unfriendly not to smile. the food was good! restaurant looks like a typical Asian restaurant, but it was pretty busy. it looks as if it is very popular to look around. we had licked and it was much smaller in portions than other restaurants. the garne was a good portion size standard and tasted great. I felt compelled to write a review because I absolutely love Assam Laksa, yet it's challenging to find a good one in Melbourne! I can confidently say this is the best version I've had in a long time, and I highly recommend it if you're craving it. My partner ordered the combination hor fun and was pleased with the wok hei of the noodles, although it could have used a bit more protein or seafood. Overall, we both left feeling satisfied. Ordered the Char Kway teow, Roti canai and Teh Tarik, my noodles arrived very quickly which had me wondering if they were even cooked, there was no wok hei at all, and bland unfortunately, the roti was ok we ordered the special house sauce which was pretty much satay sauce, big letdown was the Teh Tarik which was pretty much water, I'm sure it was packet tea. I doubt I'll be returning, having said that the owner is a gentleman and service was good. Réservez une table maintenant

Popped in on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and LOVED IT. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our food came super quick and was very yummy. We will definitely make some time to come back.
