Danphe Nepalese and Indian Food

I absolutely enjoyed the food, the service was excellent, and I appreciated the recommendations since I had never tried Nepalese cuisine before. I loved every dish I tried and it was served promptly. The spinach and paneer curry stood out as particularly exceptional. The restaurant has a cozy cafe-style atmosphere that is unassuming, but the food and prices are fantastic. They also offer take-out options. Conveniently located across from T2 in Hobart city.

After dining at Danphe Restaurant, I left exclaiming that it was 'incredibly beautiful!' Everything was fantastic, from the charming yet humble decor to the friendly, polite, and helpful waitress, as well as the truly amazing food and reasonable prices. We tried the momo platter, goat curry dahl baat, and naan bread, all of which were delicious and perfectly prepared. I couldn't find any faults and will definitely be returning many more times!

I had the chickpea and potato curry which was really good! The spices were excellent and the portion sizes were good. We didn’t have an all vegan menu but the menu was labelled as dairy free so it was fairly easy to know what was vegan and what wasn’t. There was another vegan curry to choose from and a few starters, sadly none of the bread was vegan when I went.

Had a wonderful experience here on our trip to Tasmania. The resturant was located at the center of the city. We ordered jhol momo as a starter and a thali set as our main. I would highly recommend trying the Jhol momo. They also had variety of nepalese/Indian deserts which were very fresh and is a must try too! Réservez une table maintenant

Great food, tried the chicken tikka masala with saffron rice and a plain naan. Everything tasted great, restaurant is well kept with friendly staff. Highly recommended, one of the tastiest in Hobart. Also, pricing is extremely reasonable, especially when weighed against the quality of the food!

I am unsure if this place is vegan, but they had a lot of vegetarian and GF options. My dad and I shared a garlic naan, vegetarian Momo and one of the vegetarian dals. Absolutely yummy, only issue was we asked for hot spice and got bare minimum.

Good was amazing! I had the potato and chickpea curry with plain rice. Sadly there are only 2 options for mains and a couple of side options. None of the bread is vegan unfortunately. Very reasonably priced too!

I was thrilled to discover this restaurant. The food is excellent and well-priced. The Nepalese curries are fantastic, as is the momo platter. I will definitely be returning. Réservez une table maintenant

Beautiful little place... food and service was great. Thali was delicious and so was the momos. They also gave us free dessert. Will visit again
