My friend and I found Darband by accident as we were at the pub opposite which didn't serve meals. The restaurant was full of customers which almost always tells you the food is good. And the food was delicious with tastes we hadn't experienced before....The rice was fluffy and had to be mixed with butter to bring out the best taste. I don't normally eat lamb but the dishes were really succulent, moist and a delight. The poor waitress was walked off her feet by the steady stream of customers which probably caused the slight delay for the food being served. I will be going back there again.
Came highly recommended, one of the least expensive Persian restaurants with a definite family atmosphere. Not that many people work there and at peak times it can get quite busy with noticesble delays. The yoghurt drink here is amazing and the more stewy options as well as the grilled ones delicious. Onion and pita are complimentary...
The taste is super delicious, the portion is large and the rice portion is generous. The koobideh in the restaurant is especially delicious and must be ordered. Great Persian food, highly recommended Persian restaurant. The only downside is that the recent price hike has taken away the value
Basic decor, lovely service, great food and very, very reasonable. Assume it's authentic judging by the clientele. Was a busy lunch time! Great flavours, delicate but satisfying food. Loved it.

The portion sizes were okay, but the meat didn't smell right. Would not recommend.
