Comment: Shame, and a little annoying... We stayed on Sunday afternoon at the potato house for lunch. We had booked a table at an early stage, which was also necessary — the place was in a break full with the usual Freiburger gentrified-young-bourgeois audience in a quite simple rustic ambience. The menu is extensive, even beyond the name-giving potato. The quality of the various meals at oddly ambitious prices very different: meat and fish quite well, the roast potatoes very ordentlch (all other things would be surprising here too, the added large mixed field salad not necessarily large, but rich and well made. Update 28.11. Today the service was somewhat less friendly and the overall experience was therefore.a little restricted. I therefore take off 1 star at the service. This time we had a waitress in the interior. There was no concrete problem, but the waiter from the last time was definitely much more on guest service. The food still lacks the sophistication for the very high price. Of course, I understand increased costs. Simple potato dishes for sale over 15€ is ... – show

This is heaven for gluten-free food. And for classic German fare. Food quality exceptional for Freiburg, high quality salads and great selection of German/local dishes. Attentive service. Sole thing to improve on — interior design. A wooden floor and different lamps/decoration could improve the somewhat sterile athmosphere of the room. Great place to eat!

Great restaurant that was eating was very tasty and lovingly dressed, staff very friendly and attentive. Here everyone finds something, whether vegan, vegetarian,or meat lover,all ingredients are fresh and carefully selected we always like to come. Réservez une table maintenant

Unfortunately no longer as good as before (before 5 to 7 years) food is ok but expensive for what it is...Ambiente is clear but very narrow. Service stands out clearly, is friendly, fast and reliable

Hrana nije bila losa. Gluten free ponuda je velika medutim neke stvari koji on na meniu kao gluten free, nisu gluten free tipa krumpirici. The little meni fali mesne ponude jos.
