we arrived at the burgrestaurant in the afternoon. You should know or find out what time you can drive up to the burg. for a small fee, the driveway with the car is only possible hourly for a quarter of an hour and accordingly the trip. the hotel/restaurant is located directly below the burgruine falkenstein and convinces with a magnificent view. the facility in the restaurant is original and chic, very cozy with fireplace and cantilever on the benches. the offered cakes (apfelstrudel with vanilleeis, apfelstreusel, rhabarberstreusel) were very tasty and the service sympathetic and accommodating. we are very happy to come back to try the hearty spears.
We came as a family with our dog. We had a great warm welcome by the owner. Due to the heavy snowfall, they picked us up at the lower parking area and brought us back when we had finished our dinner.The food and the staff were just great! Nothing much to say!! One of the few restaurant being so kind to our kids!We spent a wonderful evening and next time we'll book a room to enjoy the awesome view!!!We'll be back...
we were with the whole 6-headed family after the bribe of the burgruinenfelsen arrived on the afternoon. there were extremely tasty cakes, served by extremely friendly staff in a dense ambiente, with magnificent views over the talebenen. we looked at the evening menu and will surely spend an evening here soon. (and to the digestif I will order one of the many Bavarian whiskys offered).
my friend and I are vegetarian and beer friends. the homemade beer (light, dark and white) are super tasty and really inexpensive. the card does not hold so many dishes ready for vegetarian, but the cheese-speakers for practiced allgäuer are a ravine. for the somewhat conscious atmosphere and the economical veggie selection lead to 4 points. probably but the top address in pfronten.

that may be disturbing first: traffic light-regulated approach over Kurvige mountain road-who pech has to wait 15 minutes.But everything else is just fantastic! beautiful themed rooms, very good kitchen (here the brother cooks, in the schlossanger alp the sister. both at the highest level), very nice dining rooms, good weine, warm and accommodating service.
were once again with (business) friends for dinner on the falkenstein. the choice was not difficult - simply the menu offered - with some nice intermediates. really great matched. also the recommended wein was absolutely fitting. service in accustomed wise: friendly, competent and unobtrusive.
have eaten the imperial smarn and it was a dense. a large portion, you need a lot of space in the magen super talks and tips of the restaurant professional woman. thank you again
This is an upscale eating experience in a comfortable, romantic, quiet setting. We had 2 kids with us and the staff were very friendly and tolerant.
