Stopped in here for our first time this week on our way to Deep Creek. I had read about D'Atri's subs and really wanted to try one. We arrived at 2pm and the place was packed!! We were seated upstairs and had a great server named Gary. My partner and I shared a 12 inch hot ham and cheese sub and some cream of crab soup. The soup was delicious! I was impressed with the flavor and jumbo pieces of crab meat. The sub was gigantic!! In fact, we had some trouble eating it because it was so large. We had a ten-minute wait to get a table, and then we waited 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order, which took another 20 minutes to be served. The food was good overall. We really love their **** soup whenever it’s available. Her cheesesteak subs are also tasty, and the other dishes we tried were enjoyable as well. We live in West Virginia and frequently travel to Pennsylvania or Virginia, using D’Atri’s as our halfway rest stop.
Used to go here when I was growing up and stopped in recently. Either my sense of taste has really changed or they have declined in quality. Ordered an Italian sub and it came with pickled sweet pepers and dill pickles which have no business on an Italian sub. Also got a meatball from this location and the Cumberland location and if I'm honest the little take away store in Cumberland just had a better sandwich.
A visit to Cumberland isn't complete without trying this place. It's hands down the best cheese steak you’ll find anywhere. I don’t even need to look at a menu!

D'Atri's is truly one of a kind. You won’t find subs and seasoned lettuce like theirs anywhere else, except in Cumberland, Maryland. They are simply the best!
Always great food! My favorites are the steak sub salad, all the classic menu options, the burger, and the French fries with gravy.
Have eaten here a few times over the past month. Everything has been good. The subs in particular are huge and delicious.
Always the best breakfast around. Wonderful pastries, too. Got a piece of Chocolate Bee Sting Cake! Mmmmm!
