Daves Gelateria Artigiana

We come back to this place every time we're in well. The only negative that can be said about Daves is that you cannot be sure when it is closed. During the high season you can open it seven days a week. During the season or if the weather is bad, it can be closed on Mondays or maybe closed on Tuesdays. It is usually open about 13:00, but sometimes a little earlier. If it all sounds a little strange, don't let it take you out. It is worth checking the risk!

The gelateria itself looks very inviting, clean and modern. Ice cream however is a let down. The flavours are not very distinct and the consistency is somewhat grainy.

Good selection of Gelato. We had medium-sized ice creams (5 CHF/cone) Straccitella, pistachios and chert flavors. Friendly service. Good, but nothing special.

Various ice cream ordered: pistachios, strawberry, mango, passion fruit and ice cream “Snickers”. Yes, Snicker Bar ice cream. Fast and quick service.
