We chose Davron due to it's great food reviews and it did not disappoint. Luckily they had a room left (standard double bed -clean and comfy with a great shower). Booked in and thoroughly enjoyed a GnT with a game of pool before supper....Restaurant was reasonably busy so a nice atmosphere we had lovely homemade cullen skink, house special spicy beef and vegetable strips/rice followed by desserts of sponge and custard and; lemon brulee. Breakfast was equally lovely as Dave the co-owner is the chef usuals but also Eggs Benedict perfectly cooked. Gem of a hotel with beautiful views out to the sea. The ensuite family room was spacious and kitted out with everything you needed. No need to ask reception for a hair dryer or iron as they were provided in the room. The beautiful room...and roomy shower room were excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. The owners are particularly lucky to have the lovely lady from Lewis on their staff. She was so professional, friendly, cheery, helpful and attentive. Another huge asset is their breakfast chef the breakfasts were outstanding! A thoroughly enjoyable stay!
We went here for tea, I had Beef Soy, which was beef stir-fry with all peppers onions boiled rice, plus portion garlic bread, they had Beef steak pie with chips, chicken Cajon chicken pasta with chips can't remember the other meal, we got some...drinks and some refills, bill came to we happy with service, very attentive polite and clean tidy place. You walk through bit with toilets and your in the bar, I was on magners a pint. Staff again very friendly sports on Tele, busy spot.
We booked two rooms for an overnight stay en route from Newcastle upon Tyne to the Orkneys. The staff are all incredibly friendly, welcoming and efficient, the rooms were immaculate and the evening meal was delicious in a surprisingly large and contemporary restaurant, attractively...designed. The bar is cosy and comfortable, with a digital jukebox offering a great music selection. Definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

Had a weekend break and we couldn’t have had a better weekend. Super hotel, very clean ,comfortable rooms,fabulous breakfast included. Staff friendly and very helpful. Ate our evening meal every night in restaurant and food was excellent. Lovely spacious beer garden. Rosehearty is a very...friendly little village with stunning views we’ll definitely be back.
Had a meal here for my wife’s birthday. First visit and definitely not our last . Everything was faultless from food to service and cleanliness. My wife’s Rob Roy chicken with black pudding mash was delicious as was my mixed grill. At under for...two mains two desserts and three drinks great value for money. Can recommend this restaurant
A very unassuming hotel to look at, but a fabulous welcome. Staff extremely friendly, and the breakfast choice and evening meals are better than some star if you are looking for good wholesome, hearty and comfort food. Highly recommend a stay here if planning...a stay in Rosehearty or the surrounding areas.
We went for a meal at the Davron hotel and was surprised at portion size which was plentiful I had steak pie which was best I've had for a long time staff were good

Set near sea front this is a real hidden gem, lovely rooms superb restaurant and ever so friendly staff. Exceeded all our expectations thoroughly reccomended
Excellent food and great service for the price! Will definitely eat here again! The Katsu Curry was delicious! Recommend!
