Daybreak Cafe - Réserver une table

The group I was with have been here before, this was my first time. They raved about it so I was looking forward to breakfast at brunch when we arrived. There was a 20 minute wait which is fine, our service was fast and friendly even though they were busy. The food wasn’t great and even my group was disappointed; no taste, bland, boring. The best tasting item was the jam for the rye bread lol. If I was blindfolded, I could tell I was eating jam and drinking coffee but couldn’t have said what the other items were within the full breakfast. I wanted to share what happened on 2 separate occasions at Day Break Cafe. It has me concerned how the owner is treating the waitresses with all of the “rules” there. This morning I was delivering a door dash order. The customer messaged me and asked if I could add some ketchup. The staff refused to give ketchup and said the customer has to pay for that. Pay for ketchup with a carry out order? On Veteran’s day I had a bad experience as well. It was a Friday night a hour before close, hardly any customers.
