Lahmajoun was incredibly authentic and delicious. We also tried the beyti special, which was fantastic. The server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a charming vintage feel, but it was clean. I deducted a star because the homemade lemonade and iced tea didn't taste truly homemade. The bathroom is quite dated, but overall, it was clean.
Authentic Turkish cuisine steeped in history. The founder opened one of the first Turkish restaurants in New Jersey and is also a Korean War hero! The food is incredibly flavorful; the beef liver was fresh and perfectly prepared. The Lamacun, or Turkish pizza, is a must-try. The atmosphere is delightful, and the service is excellent.
If you want authentic Turkish cuisine and a beautiful local atmosphere, this is the place. All their oven baked Turkish pizzas are good options. If you want the Doner Kebab, you have to come on the weekend. Make sure you go your special bread with your meal or appetizers
I found this restaurant on Uber Eats, and I’m so glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious and very affordable. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is packaged perfectly. Their lunch specials are an excellent value, too. Réservez une table maintenant
Favorite local Turkish restaurant. The lahmacun is fantastic and the highlight. The kebabs are very fresh and tasty as is the lentil soup. The sigara boregi was ok, but I know it doesnt travel well. Would highly recommend overall.
packaging was very bad. the different foods was mixed. Two different foods were put in one package. They sent half kebab instead of gyro. food was delicious but packaging was very bad. I had a guest and it was embarrassing.
The sis kebab was juicy, the rice was cooked to perfection, and I loved the grilled tomato. I poured lentil soup over it—highly recommend!
