We stumbled on this restaurant in a jet lagged state after a big day of cycling. We speak very little French and the waitress spoke no English but with sign language we communicated with ease. We both had a large salad (one with smoked fish and one with ham/cheese) generous portions and exactly what we wanted, served with bread on the side. Reasonably priced too, around CHF 20 which were coming to understand is quite cheap! Lots of variety on the menu. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal feeling very satisfied with our choice.
We hadn’t booked as Bull was an unforeseen stop, without fuss they put 2 tables together and disinfected the whole thing, tables, place matts plastified menus What a jemMagnificent Art Deco restaurant, amazingly friendly smiling staff yes you can see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices The food was simply wonderful and generous. Thank you chef We were so impressed by the whole experience that we are going back with our families. A note to the owner: Your staff are wonderful, look after them
Accueil sympathique, cadre authentique. Jour de marché, donc carte réduite: salade mêlée, jambon+frites, soupe du chalet. Portions généreuses, la soupe de chalet est incroyable - la meilleure que j'aie mangé. Carafe d'eau gratuite, c'est appréciable. Seul bémol, le prix semble un peu surévalué notamment pour le plat de jambon: 24.-. Salade à 16, soupe à 13.
