De La Vega Wine, Tapas Sangria

All I can say is WOW! I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant in downtown Deland. It was great to find a place with vegan options close to home. I tried the plantain soup and the hibiscus tacos, to which I added jackfruit—both were phenomenal! My fiancé ordered the jackfruit quesadilla, and it was just as delightful. The cheese on both dishes melted perfectly; we think it was Daiya cheese, but I might be mistaken. Our server, Kailey, was very attentive and helpful, which made our brunch even more enjoyable. We definitely plan to return—no doubt about it! I highly recommend this place.

The sauce, vegetables, and rice were perfectly prepared; however, the chicken was slightly overcooked. I believe adding black beans would be a nice enhancement to this dish.

It's a charming little spot that serves tapas, and the food was excellent. It's perfect for a cozy date, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.
