The setting is very beautiful but the atmosphere was a little dull this Saturday lunchtime. The waitress was very pleasant and smiling. The sommelier didn 't seem very concerned, even when ordering. He seemed eager. We wanted a wine from the region but he offered us a bottle from Graubünden. Amazing. At the time of the cheese, the sommelier was certainly at the end of his service and our bottle remained on a table, with at least 1.5 dl remaining. Nobody cared about this detail . The waitress was replaced by a very friendly young man during dessert time. We told him, at the end of the meal, about this little problem with the wine bottle. He offered to give us the cap so we could take the rest...
We enjoyed an excellent meal (lunch) in the magnificent setting of the Hotel DuPeyrou Restaurant. The premises are very well maintained and impeccably clean. The welcome was friendly, as were the wait staff during the meal. The quality of our meals was very satisfactory, as was the temperature of the plates served as main courses. The presentation of the dishes was careful. We have nothing but compliments to offer for all the services related to this meal. Très bonne cuisine, je recommande l'accompagnement des vins avec le menu. Le service, malheureusement, n'était pas à la hauteur : les serveurs, bien que très gentils, manquaient de professionnalisme. Peu informés sur les plats, ils ont commis plusieurs erreurs lors du service à table, ce qui est regrettable. En revanche, le sommelier, quant à lui, était parfait. Excellent menu. Paired wines chosen with care. Not within the reach of all budgets but the price is largely justified by the culinary experience. Impeccable service, magnificent setting and small bonus, the chef came in person to greet us and ask if everything was okay.
