Nous avons séjourné dans cet endroit il y a cinq ou six ans, et bien que l'hôtel lui-même soit assez facile à oublier, nous avons apprécié le petit-déjeuner donc nous avons décidé d'y retourner pour un petit-déjeuner pendant nos achats en ville il y a quelques jours, et nous sommes très heureux de l'avoir fait. C'est un petit-déjeuner simple, de base, mais très savoureux et bien préparé. Ne vous attendez pas au Full English, c'est la France, mais vous obtiendrez certainement un café bien préparé, des pâtisseries exceptionnelles et du jus frais, et c'est ce dont vous avez besoin. Le service est assez détendu mais étonnamment rapide, et nous reviendrons certainement pour un petit-déjeuner rapi...
The hOtel de Milan sits as the centre point in the cycling rich town of Bourg D'Oisans, the centre, for many, of the cycling universe. The food is well prepared and served by helpful, kind staff who care for about the hotel and care for the customer. As complete strangers we could not have been better looked after: nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was in the traditional French style; a well stocked self-service buffet with generous and unending supplies of coffee provided. You can eat while taking in the art nouveau, regional character of the building, sense the history and enjoy watching the present world go about their plans and reviews. A wonderful place to stay and to eat.
A lot of work done on refurbishing the Hotel de Milan since last year. The apartments/rooms are very well kitted: plugs have direct Apple lead plug-ins. Good, constant hot water. Located at the centre of Bourg: the cycling hit of the Alpe D'Huez area. A great base for the Tour. The centre of the cycling world in July. Friendly, attentive staff from a family-run hotel which retains the classic elements of provincial France mixed with he modern expectations of travellers in this part of the world.
Atmosphère magique. Décoration magnifique et on se sent comme à la maison. Le service est impeccable, le propriétaire de l'hôtel nous a traités comme de vieux amis. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et offrait une grande variété de plats. Le restaurant de l'hôtel, géré séparément, semble étrange mais cela vaut chaque centime. Le chef Christoph semble perdu dans son propre monde, mais la nourriture servie est hors du commun. Je recommande vivement. Réservez une table maintenant
J'adore cet hôtel. Les propriétaires et le personnel étaient très très gentils. L'emplacement est incroyable pour faire du vélo, à 5 minutes en vélo du départ de l'Alpe d'Huez. Proche des fromageries, des magasins de vélos et des restaurants. Hôtel très charmant. La chambre était incroyable. De bonne taille. Rivière juste en dessous de l'hôtel, piscine. Le petit-déjeuner était bon. J'y retournerais certainement.
Went there tonight and had a beautiful meal, pasta ravolies and bologniase plus desserts and some belgium beers the service was fantastic we learnt new French words that the staff gratefully helped to teach us and they were friendly and approachable and made the night! We will be back. Tomorrow to try more of the menu!
Nous étions à trois, avec notre petite fille de ans. Repas très bon, vraiment nous sortons du restaurant ce soir et il était important pour nous de dire à quel point la cuisine était bonne. Très arrangeant pour les enfants aussi. Un sans faute, serveur très aimable et cuisine très bonne. Nous reviendrons c'est sur.
