This is a charming and affordable café that specializes in Hungarian cuisine, including goulash, as well as traditional English fare. We initially planned to just grab a coffee and a brownie, but after seeing what others were enjoying, we were tempted by the delicious-looking dishes! Our order of two coffees and a brownie came to £8, which is quite reasonable for Bristol. The interior is beautifully decorated, filled with plants and books that adorn the walls, creating a lovely atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious homemade Hungarian mushroom soup. It was full of flavor, featuring generous pieces of mushrooms, bell peppers, and carrots, all perfectly blended together. The seasoning was spot on, with the ideal amount of paprika. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed, complemented by soft background music.

The beef goulash was extremely fresh and light and unexpected. I have had goulash previously, German goulash with thick sauce, but this one is different. it is soupy, light, fresh, nice for a hot summer day or cold winter night. If you like something spicy, ask for their Hungarian pepper paste. Chicken chiabatta was good as well, but the star was the goulash.

large selection of traditional and more modern Hungarian food, desserts, weeping. the personal is nice and welcoming. the caffe itself is located on a busy street, with some seats outside. the prices are reasonable and the ingredients are good quality. I would recommend this place for a lunch or tee.

Very nice and chilled atmosphere. The service was super friendly and the food delicious. I felt very welcome here and will be coming back for sure… need to test more of that menu!
