we expected a high quality fish and chip restaurant in the vene of harry ramsden. the seat and waiter service was good, but eating was very common. freshly cooked restaurant chips should be crispy outside and on the inside they do not float. also plates must be large enough for the food. plaice should be served alongside chips that are not served above them due to lack of space. the waitress was very pleasant, polite and friendly, but the ambiente was zero. I would not recommend deepthroat blue in norwich to be a friend of the fear of the comeback.
The food was excellent. We booked a table for 6pm and was told we would have the table until 7.30pm. Only to be told the restaurant closes at 7pm and the website says 8pm. You need to get the details right! It put a dampener on the evening meaning we had about 40 mins to eat and chat.
this was our second visit in this restaurant. at the first visit let the soggy chips eat down, but this time they were excellent. the baked on the cherry cake was not good, but overall it was good to eat. will be visited again.

we were welcomed and asked to find a table. we had booked online, but they did not know about our booking. the service was good, but slow. eating was amazing, so will be back
Friendly service. Large portions. Very fresh fish. Plenty of parking including disabled spaces. Music not too loud, but would have preferred something soothing like Mozart.
The food was very good but the ketchup was not nice and had a nasty taste but apart from that the food and service was excellent
