Walked off of the train in this neighborhood and directly across the street I saw several indian restaurants! After my a while without it, I wandered around and saw a buffet (weekends only) for 13$ and had to try it. A bit expensive for the selection they had, but I've never tried Indian in NYC so I dove right in. Samosas were huge, and they only had 4 sauces on the buffet. They had an egg fried rice which was alright, and the mixed veggies were lightly spiced and perfectly soft and cooked up with flavors. My favorite of the day was the methi chicken wow! Boneless, curriful and awesome on the rice, with the naan, and by itself! Tender and amazing. The goat was a great flavor too, but barely...

Title: Disappointing Experience at Deli Heights Indian Restaurant Rating: (2/5 stars) My recent visit to Deli Heights Indian Restaurant in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York left me disappointed. The limited vegetarian options on the menu, consisting of only two dishes Dahl and paneer curry, were disheartening. Moreover, the lack of authentic Indian flavors and bland taste of the food added to the letdown. Even the dessert, golabjamoon, was served almost half frozen and had an unpleasant taste. Furthermore, when I asked for additional vegetarian options, I was informed that modifications would come at an extra cost, making me feel like an inconvenience. Considering my experience, I regret to...
Stopped by this place in the bustling section of Jackson Heights since I could smell lots of great indian food from afar the minute I got off the 7 train. Currently they are doing outdoor seating which is good. Was not too busy but did have a chance to sit here at a single table to grab some saturday meal. Chicken Tikka masala is a bit different here as it does not have that tangy/buttery masala taste I've come to known for a long time. I def had to ask for some salt and chili peppers to make up the flavor but overall 7/10 which is still good. Would I come back? Yeah. Its ok, but will def get the sizzling grill the ladies behind me had which smelled great!
Ordered a variety of things from Delhi Heights, but the taste wasn't very good on any of the items save the mango lassi-which is like how would you mess that up, you know? I gave them 2 stars because the portion for certain items is large. The mango lassi was small for the price compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Wouldn't recommend coming here for Indian food when there are other places you could go in the area that taste better. Réservez une table maintenant
The food at this restaurant was quite enjoyable. The Cauliflower Manchurian was a bit salty, but it paired well with rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. The Naan was not as good, but it served its purpose. The service was below average, with no one available to take orders or answer the phone, and the wait time for the dishes was over 30 minutes.
I had ordered Chole Bhature and I guess I was satisfied with the taste. It was little toned down for American taste buds, but it could still be called authentic. This is a famous chain restaurant in India and serves good food.I walked in just before their afternoon break, so it was slow and yet, it took some time to get the food on table.
I tried takeout from this restaurant and was impressed with the high quality of the food! The order was ready on time and the staff was friendly and helpful. The naan bread was soft and the curries were delicious. However, we were not given the option to adjust the spice level, so if you prefer your dishes spicy, make sure to request it.
while eating idli. there came a cooked in cricket you know tiddi it may have traveled all the way from india because haven't seen any in the usa they get away with this plus they have been known to give the leftovers to new unsuspecting customers watch for your self Réservez une table maintenant
Came in for dinner tonight and the chicken curry I got was delicious. Homemade style curry, definitely on the spicy side but so so worth it. The guys working on the counter were very nice and friendly. The veg samosa I got was really good as well.
Super accommodating staff! The food was pretty good as well!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options ?️
