the most incredible homemade lox! grew up on long island and then living in queens, I have eaten in my life a lot of salmon, and the salmon at delicatesse are by far the best in western massachusetts. if they have luck, and with luck I mean, if the owner/cook neighbor gave them some chicken livers from their chickens, then order the chopped liver. I can't get to order anything except the bagel and suck, but I tried almost everything my spouse ordered and it was all excellent, especially the daily specialties.
