I would love to give this place a 4.5 star apparently this is the newest Delta Sky Club in DTW and ironically, it's also the smallest one, but it's definitely small and mighty. I had a layover here from DFW and was awaiting my flight to Philly, so I decided to check this out during my layover. DTW has five different Sky Clubs, and according to the bartender, she says this is the best one. This Sky Club is the only one that also has a full bar and the only one that uses actual plates. Size wise, it's pretty small. Quite possibly the smallest Sky Club I've been to. But the interior is extremely modern and it wasn't too crowded when I went so it was really nice. I arrived during lunch hours so...
It always makes me as busy as this lounge is in 2022 and how hard it is to find a desirable seat. I also get irritated, there are no more places for coffee during really early visits. But otherwise it is a great lounge with good good food and drinks, and the participants are usually happy. I like showers and bathrooms. The location in the terminal is great. I love their water machines so I can refill my own bottle and run it and on the plane. But I wish they wouldn't ask you to fill a plastic cup of fist and then empty it. What a waste if the plastic step wasted more when we should try to get rid of plastic!
We were happy to travel with someone who had a Sky Club membership. It's a great perk to have. Everything is clean and well maintained. The complete breakfast bar included two options for cooked eggs, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats w/yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, cottage cheese, cold grain, sausage Gravy Biscuits, Bagles, toast, all spices for all. It is worth noting that all cold served items were kept at suitable temperatures. Last but certainly not least is the option of a full service Open Bar including **** Marys Mimosas? Perfect way to start a day of travel! Well done Delta!
I arrived not long after it opened. There was a nice selection of food for breakfast. There was a decent variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free labeled food items. The coconut yogurt with pineapple bits hit the spot. Usually, during busier times, I walk up the stairs, to the more secluded second floor. Traditional style Delta Sky Club . The food here compared to other ones were meh .This one is the largest one at the Detroit Airport so if you want quiet and space, this is the place be. If you want better food, go to Gate A43 Lounge. It 's tight there though so keep that in mind.
This is absolutely one of my favorite Delta Sky clubs between the outdoor staff the amazing Chef created food selection and the outstanding and professional staff makes this a club that you must visit if you are arriving or transferring through ATL Réservez une table maintenant
