Oh my goodness, I had my first visit to DeLullo's this week! I went on a Friday evening around 5:30 PM and dined indoors. The service was quick, the portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious! We started with the breadsticks, which were generously topped with Parmesan cheese, and enjoyed the lasagna (oh my gosh!) and pesto ravioli. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and incredibly tasty. The hot mulled cider with a splash of bourbon was also quite satisfying. Our server, Kayla, was new but did an outstanding job ensuring we were happy with our experience. Too many tables in such a small space which made it extremely loud. Waitress could not even hear and had to repeat myself constantly and then finally gave up and ate somewhere else. Also my waitress was not friendly in the least or might have toughedit out and stayed. Another friendlier looking waitress came by to say she would be with us shortly while our waitress wasattempting to take our order. So lots of confusion due to the crowding and noise. Very disappointed as wasted an hour drive.
I’ve dined here twice with friends, and I can only say positive things! We were lucky to have an amazing server named Shannon, who was attentive and extremely helpful. However, the real highlight of the evening was the food. I tried the chicken parmesan special, and it was outstanding. The red sauce was simply fantastic! It’s rare to find such flavorful, authentic Italian sauces outside of the East Coast. This place is definitely worth a visit!
Food was all made in house, including the pasta. By far the best price for such good food. Service was excellent and had no problem accommodating us as we moved out to the patio for dessert and drinks while listening to some live music. Thank you for a wonderful evening and wonderful food.
