It used to be one of the best places around, but something changed in March 2023. I noticed that one of the staff members who was always in charge of the fryer is no longer there, and that might be the reason for the decline. The fish and fries are consistently undercooked. While the batter is crispy on the outside, it’s slimy and raw on the inside, and the fish is completely uncooked. The fries are also not crispy at all. This is my fourth disappointing experience, and I've decided not to bring it back anymore, thinking they were just having a few off days. It's really unfortunate, as they used to be fantastic.
Tasty, fresh and good prices. If you want to treat yourself on a budget, this is your place! I get the 2 pieces of fish and chip (I prefer the fish lightly dusted) and it’s amazing! Not to mention they have the best Coleslaw in town. They are always so friendly and fast. Check out there menu specials of the day on there website, good deals
I have to say, we usually dine at Deluxe once a week, but today I was quite disappointed with the fish. The size was surprisingly small, and it was overly greasy—truly unbelievable. The portions were so tiny that you could put both pieces together and barely have one decent serving.
