Denninger Ltd - Réservation de table

Denninger's is a place to shop for German and European foods. It has a great selection of meats, cheeses and bakery products. This is a review of their Bistro food located in the front of the store.We have noticed that the menu items have expanded and tried it out for dinner. Most of the food is pre cooked and held in steam tables. Some items may be finished on the grill. I ordered the cabbage roll and my wife ordered the sausage goulash. Each came with your choice of two sides. The large cabbage roll has a filling of beef, pork and rice. The filling is a dense log inside the cabbage as if it were pressed meat. I am used to a more rice based filling. The cabbage roll needed some more spices....

We've eaten here every visit to Hamilton (as well as the location downtown) and can never get enough. The eggwiches in the morning and an amazing breakfast, and so is the hearty breakfast, with the bacon/sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. The lunches are also fabulous, my favourite being the schnitzels. Staff has always been very pleasant and welcoming.

We actually went to Denninger's today and as usual over spent. This deli/butchers/lunch counter is a Hamilton icon with a wide selection. It is a little more expensive but has smaller roasts and meats which are very handy if you are buying for only two.

Denninger's is always a good place for lunch The food is always fresh and hot if that is ordered. Price is competitive. Can be very busy right at noon. I have been to the downtown location and upper James recently and enjoyed both. Réservez une table maintenant

After having my favourite - the Cordon Bleu Schnitzel - there's almost no desire to walk, run or for that matter move! A particularly tasty take on the "meat on a bun" category - especially with curry ketchup! Lecker!

The lunch counter style makes this a quick, cheap and easy place to get a home cooked meal in a hurry. I'm always impressed with the selection sausages, sauerkraut and other gluten-free options that I can have.

Shopped, ate at the in store deli, reminisced over good German food, had the Rudy which could have been better. Regretted not going for the schnitzel. Always been a solid place.

I go there for breakfast in the morning I find it to be a little expensive but the food is fresh and good service is always good Réservez une table maintenant

Bit expensive but so worth the extra price on most things...great samples help me decide to spend more money...lol
