We had a fantastic experience at Denny’s on Sunday morning. My husband and I were passing through La Quinta and decided to stop for an early breakfast. Just as we arrived, it started to rain, but that didn't dampen our spirits! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by friendly managers and staff, and we were seated right away. After not having a good breakfast in La Quinta, it felt wonderful to enjoy a hearty meal. Our server, Ron (who joked that he was Batman), took excellent care of us. Do NOT eat here at all. Spend your money somewhere else and tip someone who has earned it. Our waiter was Courtney and she is very unprofessional. You should not be waiting tables and having normal personal phone conversations via Bluetooth. The onions in my hashbrowns tasted just like the grill it was cooked on. They brought me more and they were just as bad. Overall, a mess.... spend your money elsewhere
This restaurant shows its age but the dining area was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and a vegetable omelet. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions were larger than expected. The bathroom could've been cleaned a bit better but it was functional. There's plenty of parking and it should be repaved to make it look better.
We missed our connecting flight and decided to stop by this restaurant very early in the morning. Not only were they open, but the staff was also incredibly attentive. Our server, Ronnie, was exceptional and even requested the cook to prepare my meal in a special way. The cook did a fantastic job and truly put in her best effort. I couldn't have asked for more! Ronnie was a wonderful waiter. He was very nice and friendly. But it wasn't the way he was treating us, who stood most to me. It was the way he helped an older lady at her feet, who really made me smile. His goodness was a great starter for our long 9 hours drive home. Ronnie, I hope you always treat others like today. Thank you.
