Today was my second time at Denny's in West Monroe. The first time was a bad experience but I always give a restaurant a second chance. So today was the second chance. I'll start with two good things. 1) the service was good; 2) the food came outquickly. However, this was totally outweighed by the bad. 1) the hash browns were overcooked actually burned on the bottom);2)the very thinly sliced bacon had zero taste it could have been crispy cardboard for the taste it had) ;3)the ham also hadabsolutely no taste never had ham that you could chew and not taste); 4) eggs were overcooked. I 've been twice, and the service is great. The food is not. I definitely won 't be eating there a third time, and if not for the friendly staff, this would be a one-star review. Honestly, I wouldn 't feed Denny 's to my dog. Regarding the staff, that 's howit always is. A new restaurant opens, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Then, after being open for about a year, theplace has taken its toll on them. Managers show their true colors once that new restaurant scent wears off. The originalfriendly staff begins to quit, replaced with staff who have either been in the industry long enough to hate life, or are too newand nervous to get your order ready.
We have been here on many occasions and everytime we walk in the doors, we are treated with great service! Nothing but great service and food (always tastes great! . All the servers are very nice, especially Whitney, at the West Monroe, Louisianalocation. When we want a great meal, we know we can always come here and made to feel right at home! ????
It may sound unusual that I ordered the salmon at Denny’s, but it was absolutely delicious! Cooked perfectly, the salmon was outstanding. The broccoli was exactly how I enjoy it—tender yet retaining a slight crunch, never mushy. Also, the takeout box design is brilliant. The person who designed it deserves a lot of credit!

The meal at Denny's was truly delightful! The butter pancakes were incredible, and the eggs were cooked just right. The sausage biscuits and biscuit with gravy stood out as exceptional choices. The delivery driver was also fantastic. Thank you, Denny's, for a wonderful dining experience and an excellent menu!
The ranch dressing could be improved, but the appetizers were excellent. Their breakfast dishes are always cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend trying one of their shakes—they’re amazing! Plus, I appreciate that they offer an all-day menu.
I did not receive my strawberries and bananas with my breakfast. I paid for what I wanted and it wasnt fully executed. Do I get a compensation for missing the very items that makes the double berry pancakes?
Jerresha gave us wonderful service when we went for the first time (dining in) on a late Tuesday evening. We definitely ordered with our eyes and left with 3 boxes but enjoyed ourselves to the fullest!

The staff is great! Portions are obscenely large. I have enough leftover Chicken Biscuits and Gravy to feed my 3 cats for days. Very reasonable prices.
Pretty much what you would expect. Not fantastic but decent. Good pancakes.
