Came here on a long weekend for breakfast. Yes it was busy, but the service was awful. Got sat a dirty table. Had to flag someone down to wash the seat which had syrup on it. Our salt/pepper/sugar were empty and never got filled through the time of our visit. We waited at least an hour for our food- thank goodness it was really tasty! But they never gave us syrup for our pancakes. Again, we had to chase a 3rd person down to get some for us. One of the head servers was feeling bad and brought us some fruit since we waited so long- I appreciated that but really I think we deserved a discount. And realized after they charged us for the upgraded bacon, but we never even got it. Just one of those...
I have reviewed Denny's before, but not this one in Prince George, BC. We have visited this restaurant before and will always go back. The service was great and the food was also great. My hubby tried the slamburger. Oh man that one is huge! If you are hungry and want breakfast between a bun, this burger is for you! I always order my traditional loaded veggie omelet with a side of dry toast. Once again, my toast did not come dry, but I could easily swipe off the butter. My kids had the chocolate chip pancakes again and loved them as usual. Good food, good service. Smaller amount of parking though, however there is also street parking for if you have a trailer.
The portion size was incredibly small at this restaurant. I ordered 4 pieces of bacon and paid extra for it, but only received 2 and a half pieces. The scrambled eggs portion was also very small, only enough for about two forkfuls. The hash browns portion was even less than the eggs. I felt like I was being ripped off, especially since I ordered through DoorDash. When I called to complain, the person on the phone was laughing at me. I would not recommend getting food here if you are staying at the Sandman Hotel. It was a complete rip off.
We came here for dinner and breakfast as we stayed in one of the hotels next door. Food was great and staff friendly but since it was busy both times, service was slow.I find the kids menus expensive compared to some other restaurants we've been to.

ordered specifically for the salted caramel pancakes which they forgot. called and they made us pick it up and rather than refiring the pancakes they sent us home with toppings for cold pancakes. Nachos were rough as well.
Had the french toast slam, was not given utensils butter or syrup, eggs were undercooked and tasted off so did the bacon. Will not be ordering from here again, food was not worth the price.

Denny's is a standard menu that you can trust to be the same at every restaurant. This Denny's is right next door to the Sandman, so very convenient. No complaints!
