Gasthof Lercher - Réserver une table

I wisited Murau 10 years ago, during busines teaching course and loved this place (we had just diner that time). This time I was there for 3 days (bed and brekfast only). But i had to try some food for lunch and it was delicious. Cesar's salad was plentifull and more than enough. Pumpkin soup with surprise peace of panned wegetable in side was great. Interestingly, smoking area was aroud the bar located in the center of the restaurant (how convinient for me as a smoker). But no unpleasent smel in the eating area. On the celar dor I saw an old stone with yaer 1704 marking. How about that...

It was second time visiting this restaurant and not within a day, but years in between. The good thing is: nothing has been changed. Same family runs the business, wife is on the floor, not only keeping eyes on the business but working also.Food is still good, service same. One thing to mention: It looks like during off season/weekdays they don't offer the entire food selection they have on the menu, but those with little stars only. :)

We got there at about 9pm, the kitchen was already cleaned they said, but we still got very friendly service and two meals of nice, homemade veg food (vegetable croquettes and ravioli) with a very good price. Very cozy atmosphere in this place.

Fantastic game carpaccio and overall very good kitchen. Staff very service minded and with good knowledge of wine. We will definitely come back!

Go for the a la carte menu, I am reliably informed that it is very good. The meal we had did not have much flavour,
