I can't quite remember what she had on our second visit, but she liked that dish too. What I particularly appreciated about this charming restaurant was the variety of the menu. I haven't seen an open-faced roast beef or turkey sandwich on a menu in years—last time it was at a small-town diner in Iowa back in my youth. The same goes for the Breaded Pork Tenderloin. Their menu offers far more than the usual selections found at large breakfast chains. The service was excellent and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable, too. I definitely plan to return soon to explore something from the lunch menu.
If it’s not the best breakfast within a 30-mile radius, it’s definitely the best when you consider the price. The cooks consistently get my orders just right, and I’m quite particular about how I like my eggs, hash browns, and steak. I always leave feeling full, satisfied, and happy that I didn’t overspend. The portion sizes are generous without being excessive (unlike L&L nearby, which tends to overfeed—you know the types who feel they have to finish everything on their plates). THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. THE ATMOSPHERE IS FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING! Overall, it’s a fantastic place!
The experience was just "okay." Unfortunately, the presentation was far better than the actual taste. While the flavors aren't bad, they are simply average and lack any excitement. Given the Mexican and Southwest influences, I expected a bit more zest, but that wasn't the case here. The service was also underwhelming, especially on busy mornings. It seems to be a favorite spot for locals and regulars, but unfortunately, I won't be joining them.
The pancakes were so delicious that they made me speak with a lisp! My emotional support birds enjoyed every bite, chirping in excitement to the waitress in appreciation. The bacon could use some improvement as it was a bit too salty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit dusty, but the food makes up for it. The coffee was just average—pretty standard diner fare. Don't let the exterior appearance of the restaurant fool you. It has an extensive menu filled with delightful Mexican-inspired dishes. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms, and the staff was very pleasant. I tried the baked oatmeal while my husband had a zucchini omelet, and both dishes were delicious.
As first-time visitors, we really enjoyed our experience. The Western Omelet was impressive—large and packed with filling. The pancakes with pecans and bananas were also delicious. We tried the cream of chicken soup with rice, and it was great! Overall, we would rate the food a 5 out of 5.
The food and service were outstanding. I would love to go there right now. The meals were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate multiple groups, yet it has an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel like you're part of a family.
The soup is delicious, and my coffee cup was always kept full. The staff is friendly. I've worked just around the corner for 15 years, and after going a couple of weeks ago and enjoying my visit so much, I decided to return today. Food: 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant
