Deso Burger Food Truck

The drive-through experience was different from what we usually expect; we had to park and wait for our order to be made, and then a staff member brought it to our car. The ordering process was a bit slow. We tried the Deso Poutine and found it to be somewhat salty, with only a small amount of cheese curds. Its flavor reminded us of Cajun BBQ chips. The Smash Burger was tasty but also a little too salty; the thin bun left us feeling unsatisfied as it wasn't very filling. On the other hand, the Crispy Chicken Burger had a nice spicy kick and featured a generous amount of crispy chicken. Overall, the food here is somewhat expensive given the portion sizes.

Great poutine get the lobster one when in season, it is amazing. The deso chili sauce burger is also an eternal classic. Planning to have their food truck over for a private party this summer overwhelming excitement from everyone invited! If you grew up around here, you know why. Two things I made sure I came back for at least once or twice a year when I moved out of town were for my dentist appointment and to stop by Deso for a quick bite and dose of nostalgia.

Food was excellent as always, however service was not at the expected level. The hostess did not put any effort to make our ordering experience pleasant at all. No greeting, no smile, no focus, looking elsewhere, we had to repeat items from our order because she was not paying attention. Felt so disrespected. Will not pass by for a while.

When there for lunch and the 6 employees were so confused, they gave my order to someone else TWICE. I had to ask for a refund after 20 min as my lunch time was over. Would not recommend this place if you are in a hurry. Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing restaurant! The poutine was fantastic, but the real star of the show is the deluxe burger with double patties. I give it a perfect 10/10!

Expensive for what it is. Asking for 18% tip when it is a at the counter is prohibitive.
