The food at Dewey's Public House truly deserves five stars—some of the most carefully crafted and thoughtfully prepared dishes we've experienced in the Berkshires. Kudos to the chef for that. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired and bordered on rude. We stood at the entrance for five minutes with empty tables clearly visible, yet no one acknowledged us—not even a simple "We'll be right with you"—while three staff members chatted and laughed in a corner. Other servers walked past us to get drinks for customers without so much as a glance our way. It felt like we were uninvited guests at a private gathering. Once seated, we were again ignored for several minutes—no menus, no wate...
We returned eagerly to try the veggie burger, which is a traditional option rather than an Impossible or Beyond Meat alternative, catering more to those who appreciate vegetarian cuisine. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to discover that they were out of stock. However, the service was exceptional.
Amazing place to stop and eat, great atmosphere. The staff is friendly. The food changes weekly and is amazing. Occasionally they have wine dinners with pairing and its amazing. I highly recommend this place. Craft beers on tap and in cans. Martinis are spot on! Great views across the street.
I absolutely adore Dewey's! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is simply delightful. They always offer a great selection of beers, along with a relaxed atmosphere, and their menu is packed with gourmet comfort food. What more could you possibly want?

I highly recommend trying the Buffalo Wings and the Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Wings at this restaurant. A helpful tip: if you request garlic bread to soak up the sauce, they will happily provide it!

by not discriminating at hikers. waitress refused to split the check so she could get automatic gratuity, cold food and we had to flag her down for refills.
