Firstly, I rarely eat Chinese take away, although I do love it. Someone I was visiting said they were going to get take away from this venue, so I chose to get some too. We arrived right on 5pm, once they opened their doors. The menu was quite extensive with so many dishes I have never seen before. It took me quite some time to decide what to order. We decided to share 1 of their combination deals that consisted of a number of dishes, so we were both happy. The service was very friendly. Our order was quick, not even 15 minutes from ordering to receiving it. Once I arrived home and opened the containers I was very impressed. A family group of 8, with 1 person who does not eat meat. We were the only people there on a Saturday night. 3 staff members at the counter and it only took 45 minutes to try and order a banquet for 7 people (minimum 4 to order) before they called the boss who sorted it out in 2 minutes. For the rest of the meal, the boss served us and the 3 staff stay at the counter.Extensive Asian menu, the Mongolian lamb was nice, but the rest was bland and the smallest prawns that ever made it to a table. Good size servings and lots of left overs that nobody wanted to take home, and trust me, we have one who ALWAYS takes the leftovers.Our 1st visit was 30 years ago and we have probably been 6 times since...
I ordered takeout from Diamond Chinese and was very impressed with the fast service, which only took around 10 minutes. The takeout was carefully packed, with the Crispy Honey Chicken sauce separated to ensure the chicken stayed crispy on the trip home. The Hot and Sour Soup was tightly bagged to prevent any spilling. Both dishes were delicious, especially the crispy honey chicken and tasty short soup. I'm happy to have found an affordable and delicious Chinese restaurant in Belconnen and look forward to returning to try more dishes.

I heard good things about this place so I ordered home delivery for a weekday night.Very disappointed, it took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive (cold). when I rang to find out how long it would be I was told " I cannot contact the driver because he is a new driver and I don't have his contact number" very disappointed. and the "crispy skin chicken with crab sauce was more like chicken with jelly and cheap seafood highlighter but after the waiting debacle I was too much in the mood to complain againdo not recommend
The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and attentive, eager to assist with any requests we had. The prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed the honey chicken lunch special and the curry prawns lunch special, which were both priced at $11 and came with generous portions. We will definitely be returning next week.
I frequently get takeout from this restaurant. Every time, I have had a good experience. The delivery is quick, and the food is always hot. Some dishes are better than others, so I would suggest giving this restaurant another try if your first experience wasn't great. I recommend trying the crispy chicken and Guilin noodles.
I ordered the crispy salt and pepper prawns and the combination chow mien. The prawns were soggy and flavourless. The chow mien didn't have any of the yummy sauce it should and was 90% noodles. Hard to find any of the flavourless meat and veggies digging through the watery noodles.

This restaurant does the best Chinese food in Belco. They also deliver in a very quick time after placing your order. Their laksa is brilliant and I constantly order it when I eat there.
Really enjoyed the three dishes we had, and they weren't bulked out with lots of veggies like other places. Food came out really quickly. A hidden little gem.
